The AVR-D2 series is specifically designed to perform MIL-S-19500 switching time tests, but it is also useful as a high-speed medium-voltage general-purpose laboratory pulse generator.

- Programming Manual for -B Instruments (826 kB, 2004-10-20). This is a generic programming manual for all Avtech instruments. It may describe some features and modes that are not used in the AVR-D2-B.
