IEEE 488.2 GPIB, RS-232, Ethernet. Many Avtech pulse generators are available in the "-B" format, which offers computer control through standard IEEE488.2 GPIB and RS-232 ports. These units are also available with the -TNT Internet Control Option, which adds an Ethernet port for control from a web browser or a Telnet session.

SOME RECENT INNOVATIONS

We are constantly adding new products in response to customer requests. The list below is just a partial selection of some recent designs that are now available as standard products. Contact us if your ideal product isn't here - maybe it will be our next new product!

AV-112D-PS. A 0 to +50V variable-gain linear amplifier, for driving load impedances as low as 10 Ohms! Offers a 20 kHz bandwidth..

AVRF-7A-B. A 0 to 750V pulse generator, with pulse widths variable from 100 ns to 10 us, with rise times of 7.5 ns! Other models in the same family offer amplitude/rise time combinations of 100V/1ns, 200V/2ns, 400V/4ns, and 600V/6ns.

AVRK-4-B. A 0 to 800V pulse generator, with pulse widths variable from 6 to 20 ns! Other models also available with amplitudes and pulse widths to 330V/100ns, 450V/65ns, 600V/35ns.

AVR-DV1-B. A 0 to +/- 1000V phototriac dV/dt tester. At a typical test voltage of 400V, dV/dt test signals of up to 2 kV/us can be generated. Includes a user-friendly test jig.

AVR-EB4-B. A +2A, -4A reverse recovery time tester with 3 ns switching times, for MIL-STD-750E Method 4031.4 Test Condition B tests. Now includes user-friendly test jigs for tests of common packages. Customized jigs are available.

AVR-EBF6-B. A +100mA to +1A forward recovery time tester with 8, 10, or 12 ns switching times, for MIL-STD-750E Method 4026.3 tests. Includes user-friendly test jigs for tests of common packages. Customized jigs are available.

AVO-9H1-B. A new 200 kHz, 2 Amp, laser diode driver with 1.2 ns rise times. Models in the AVO-9 and AVX-S series can now be provided with separate sockets (one high-bandwidth, and one low-bandwidth) for both sides of a butterfly diode package, for maximum convenience!

AVR-E3A-B. A new 100 Volt pulse generator with rise and fall times of 1.2 ns and PRF to 200 kHz.

AVO-8C1-B. Redesigned to feature a convenient connectorized 1 Ohm AV-CLZ1 transmission line output that will provide a peak output current of 200 Amps and an average output power of 5000 Watts.

AVOZ-B4-B. The new AVOZ-B4-B provides 0.1 to 2 us wide pulses up to 100 Volts to 1 Ohm (i.e. 100 Amps) at PRF as high as 400 kHz, with up to 400 Watts of average output power.

AVOZ-D3-B. This unique unit provides 200 Volt, 0.2 us to 10 us pulses to 5 Ohm. Ideal for testing of multiple 50 Ohm loads (or attenuators) simultaneously. Other AVOZ-D units provide 50, 500 and 700 Volts outputs to 10 Ohm loads.

AVR-3HF-B. This new 250 volt pulse generator features a maximum available output power rating of 50 Watts, PRF to 100 kHz and rise and fall times of 10 ns.

Double Pulse Option. Many members of the AVH and AVP families are now available with double-pulse outputs or dual-channel versions, with variable relative delays.

AVMR-1A-B. This new 10 MHz, 10 Volt pulser features 150 ps rise times and pulse width variable from 10 to 200 ns.

AV-106 and AV-107 families. Redesigned to feature a convenient connectorized 1 Ohm AV-CLZ1 transmission line output for cleaner waveforms and simpler load connections. Peak outputs range from 2 Amp to 100 Amp and rise times from 10 ns to 1 us.

AV-HTL-1R0. A 4 kW high-power load with low-impedance transmission line input cable. Ideal for use with Avtech's high-power laser diode drivers.
